Rocky River Soccer Organization and Cleveland Force Soccer Club have partnered to provide a professional soccer training program for children ages 5-8 years old living in the Rocky River community. We have partnered with Cleveland Force to best prepare our young athletes for travel soccer at U9 within the Rocky River Soccer Organization. C
What is the RRSO Juniors Academy U8 Program?
The Juniors Academy offers families à la carte programming designed to provide flexible training schedules and league play options. The professionally coached program focuses on the foundation stage of youth soccer development. Players beginning their journey, as well as more seasoned players, will find this program to be an excellent resource in developing the necessary skills for enjoyment and success in the sport.
Who can participate?
Female and male athletes between 5-8 years of age who are interested in or intend on participating in future RRSO U9 travel programming.
Practice and Game Information:
Practices are held at Force Sports Rocky River. Each training session is 60 minutes. Families can register for one or two à la carte training sessions per week. Program packages run 6-8 weeks in duration (program package prices vary). Families can register for training programs, and opt out of game program packages. Players will receive a training jersey with their first program package registration. If registering for multiple training program packages a 10% discount is applied to the cost of the second program. Games are held at Cleveland United Fields (fall & spring league), and Force Sports Rocky River (winter leagues).
The Juniors Academy program covers:
Technical - Ball manipulation, dribbling, shooting, passing, receiving
Physical - Mobility, coordination, balance
Mental - Decision making, spatial recognition, creativity
Tactical - Individual principles, cooperative learning, teamwork

From there choose which training or league program packages you’d like to register for.
